Time Jars — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Short version: Time Jars collects nothing. The app works fully offline and does not even request the Internet permission. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

What the app stores — only on your device

• Your name (optional), your language and theme, and your planner and reminder settings.

• Your time blocks, your daily routine and templates you save.

• The tasks in your priority matrix and your OPA goals (outcome, purpose, actions and deadline).

• Your focus sessions (date, length, the plant you chose and whether it bloomed).

• Your answers to the daily self-review questions.

This data never leaves your device through the app. There is no account, no sign-up, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

Permissions the app uses

• Notifications — to remind you when a time block starts, for the evening review, and to tell you when a focus session ends or when your plant is about to wither. You can switch reminders off in the app's Settings.

• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — only if you allow it, so that reminders arrive on the exact minute. Without it, Android may deliver them a few minutes late.

• Run at startup — so your reminders are set again after the phone restarts.

• Vibration — for small taps on buttons. You can turn this off in Settings.

All reminders are scheduled on your phone; no data is sent anywhere to produce them.

Backups and sharing — only when you tap

When you choose "Back up to a file", the app writes a file to the place you pick with Android's file picker. When you choose "Restore from a file", the app reads only the file you pick. When you tap "Share Time Jars", the app hands a short text to the app you choose. What happens to files and messages afterwards is governed by those apps and services.

Android backup

If you have turned on Android's own device backup, Android may include this app's data in your personal Google backup, like other apps. This is controlled by your phone's settings, not by the app.

Deleting your data

Settings → "Erase everything" deletes all your data from the app. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data from the phone.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
